Healify Clinic adheres to HIPAA-compliant standards to protect your privacy and confidentiality. However, despite reasonable efforts, there is a possibility that security protocols could fail, causing a breach of privacy of personal medical information. You will be promptly notified if any security issues arise.
3. Risks and Limitations
While telehealth offers convenience, there are potential risks, including:
- Technical failures leading to delays or interruptions in medical evaluation and treatment.
- Security breaches despite safeguards, potentially compromising personal medical information.
- Limited ability to perform physical examinations, which may affect the accuracy of diagnosis.
By consenting to telehealth services, you acknowledge these risks and agree to proceed with online consultations.
4. Right to Withdraw
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of telehealth services at any time, without affecting your right to future care or treatment. If your provider believes that you would be better served by traditional in-person care, they may stop the telehealth session and schedule an in-person visit.
